J-Kwon

Jarrell Jones better known by his stage name J-Kwon is an American rapper from St. Louis, Missouri, the United States, born in 1986. Jones left his home when he was 12 and during his teenage years dealt with illegal drugs. At that time, he slept in cars, at his friends’ and at the same time, he was very interested in rap. Once, he won a rap battle and that boosted his music career. Jones rose to fame in 2004 with his debut breakthrough hit single “Tipsy”. The song reached the top spot of the Hot Rap Tracks, and was number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles chart. The song featured his debut album Hood Hop that was released in 2004. The other singles from the album were "You & Me" with Sadiyyah and "Hood Hop".
