Iyaz

Iyaz, birth name Keidran Jones is British Virgin Islander singer and rapper born in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. He was born in a musical family and intended to pursue a music career. He studied digital recording in college and began recording his own music and to post it on his MySpace page. Sean Kingston found him through MySpace and sent several messages. Thus, Iyaz began his professional music career. He signed a recording contract with Time Is Money/Beluga Heights Records. J.R. Rotem produced his debut single “Replay”. The single quickly became a hit reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100, and number 1 in Switzerland, and the UK. It hit also top 5 in Canada, France and charted in many other countries.
