It Dies Today

American metalcore and post-hardcore band It Dies Today (also known as "IDT") from Buffalo, New York, was formed in 2001. The band comprises Jason Wood (lead vocals), Chris Cappelli (guitars), Steve Lemke (bass), Mike Hatalak (guitars) and Nick Mirusso (drums, percussion). In the 2001, they released their first demo, Let The Angels Whisper Your Name, which included three tracks and brought the band a contract with Life Sentence Records. A year later, they released their debut EP, Forever Scorned. To support Forever Scorned they went on tour along with various metal bands and artist such as Between the Buried and Me and Alexisonfire. In 2004, they released their debut studio album, The Caitiff Choir, which yielded several singles such as "My Promise", "Severed Ties Yield Severed Heads", "The Radiance" and "The Depravity Waltz".
