Idina Menzel

American pop singer, songwriter and actress Idina Menzel was born on May 30, 1971 in Long Island, New York. She began career as a wedding and bar mitzvah singer. At the age o 23, she was cast in Jonathan Larson's rock musical Rent. Following the success of this musical, she released her debut album entitled "Still I Can't Be Still".
