Icehouse

Australian pop rock band Icehouse from Sydney, was formed in 1977. The band was founded by vocalist, guitarist, bass guitar and keyboards player Iva Davies and currently comprises Steve Bull, Peter Maslen, Glen Reither, Paul Gildea and Iva Davies. The group's music style is considered as pub rock with elements of synthpop sound. They achieved international success in 1980 with their multi-platinum self-titled debut album , which was released on the Regular Records (independent label). The album produced three hit singles, "Can't Help Myself", "We Can Get Together" and "Walls". All these songs reached Top 20 in Australia. Icehouse also peaked at number 82 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart and at number 4 on the Australian Chart. It received positive reviews from both American and Australian critics.
