English alternative rock and britpop singer-songwriter and producer Ian Broudie was born on August, 4 1958, in Liverpool, England. At the end of the 1980s, he formed alternative pop/rock band The Lightning Seeds. He also worked with bands like Echo & the Bunnymen, The Colourfield, The Pale Fountains, Shack, The Icicle Works, Ellery Bop and The Fall under the name 'Kingbird'. He also made his name in the industry as a producer. In 2004, he released his solo debut album, Tales Told, which produced twelve tracks such as "Whenever I Do", "He Sails Tonight", "Smoke Rings", "Got No Plans" and "Always Knocking".
