Heaven and Hell

Heaven and Hell is a heavy metal band formed in 2006. The band consists of four ex-members of cult band Black Sabbath - Ronnie James Dio,- vocals, Tony Iommi – guitar, Geezer Butler – bass, Vinny Appice – drums. At first they toured under Black Sabbath and decided to reunite in order to record three new songs for the compilation album Black Sabbath: The Dio Years, but decided to change the name in order to differentiate themselves from the Black Sabbath led by Ozzy Osbourne. The name Heaven and Hell comes from the first Dio-fronted Black Sabbath recording. The band has already released the album with their absolutely new material The Devil You Know. The album was released in 2009 and the band went on tour supporting the record. The album has entered the charts in many countries, like U.S., UK, Finland, Canada, Norway, Germany and others.
