Estopa

Estopa are a Spanish rock and rumba duo coming from Cornella, Barcelona, Spain. The duo was founded in 1998 by two brothers David Muñoz Calvo (born January 10, 1976) and José Manuel Muñoz Calvo (born November 13, 1978). Their music is difficult to classify into one genre as it is a bled of several genres, like rock, rumba, flamenco and a special “sonido callajero” which is difficult to describe. David is a lead singer and occasionally plays guitar, Jose is a guitarist and back vocalist and occasional lead vocalist. The band has released seven albums and each time they were number one in Spain. The duo signed to BMG Spain and began their way to the fame.
