Esthero

Esthero, birth name Jenny-Bea Englishman is a Canadian singer-songwriter, producer, arranger and activist born on December 23, 1978 in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. When she was sixteen years old, she moved to Toronto, where she began her solo career singing during the open-mic nights. During that time, she was founded by two managers who introduced her to EMI Publishing Canada president who approved her for studio work. She and Doc, guitarist and studio engineer released the debut album Breath from Another in 1998. Esthero could release her next album, this time without Doc, only in 2005. Wikked Lil' Grrrls features such musicians like Sean Lennon, Gnarls Barkley and others. She also contributed to the song Yes We Can inspired by Barack Obama’s speech.
