Ensiferum

Ensiferum is a Finnish metal band, playing “heroic folk metal”. The band was formed in Helsinki, Finland in 1995. The current band’s line-up composes of Petri Lindroos (harsh vocals, guitar), Markus Toivonen (guitars, clean and backing vocals), Sami Hinkka (bass, clean and backing vocals, lead vocals), Janne Parviainen (drums), Emmi Silvennoinen (keyboards, backing vocals). The band’s lyrics is inspired by films and literature mostly by great Finnish epic Kalevala and by Norse sagas. The band has released five studio albums beginning from Ensiferum in 2001 and ending with From Afar (2009). You can download the last album by Ensiferum in mp3 from our site. The band headlined Paganfest tour in Europe and in North America in 2008 sharing the stage with Korpiklaani, Tyr, Eluveitie and some other bands.
