Eliza Gilkyson

American folk music singer, songwriter and guitarist Eliza Gilkyson was born on October, 17 1950, in Hollywood, California, U.S.A. In the beginning, she performed along with her father, famous folk musician Terry Gilkyson. In the late 1960s, she released her debut album, Eliza '69, which brought her a contract with Gold Castle Records. She achieved mainstream success in the late 1980s with her breakthrough album, Pilgrims, which produced her first singles such as "Calling All Angels", "Shadows and Footprints", "Material Man", "Foolish Heart" and "Mr. Mystery".
