El Canto Del Loco

El Canto Del Loco is a Spanish pop rock band founded in 1994 in Algete, Madrid, Spain. The founding members are Dani Martin and Ivan Ganchegui. The latter left the group in 2002. The current lineup composes of Dani Martín (vocals), David Otero (guitar-chorus), Chema Ruiz (bass) and Carlos Gamón (drums). The band was influenced by many Spanish bands of the 80s. They have become one of the most popular band on the contemporary Spanish music scene having sold more than 1 million albums. In 2005 they won the Best Spanish Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. They released many albums including A contracorriente, Estados de ánimo , Arriba el telón, Personas, Radio Lacolifata presenta: El Canto del loco and others.
