Edwin McCain

Edwin McCain is an American alternative rock singer-songwriter and musician, born on January 20, 1970 in Greenville, South California, the United States. Though all his albums are released under his name he has a permanent band consisting of Larry Chaney (guitar), Pete Riley (guitar and vocals), Craig Shields (keyboards and saxophone), Jason Pomar (bass guitar and vocals) and of Tez Sherrard (drums and percussion). The group of musicians are referred as Edwin McCain Band. During his career McCain has released 10 studio albums, the first two were released independently and right now he is signed to Vanguard Records, though the last album Nobody’s Fault but Mine was released via Sugaro Road Records. The most his popular songs are “I Could Not Ask for More”(the song reached number 3 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks) and “I’ll Be” (it peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100).
