Drones

The Drones are an Australian rock group from Perth, Western Australia, based now in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The band was formed in 2000 and the current band members are Gareth Liddiard (vocals, guitar), Fiona Kitschin (bass), Dan Luscombe (guitar), and Mike Noga (drums). The band’s music can’t be classified as pure rock. In order to gain greater popularity and wide fame the band left Australia and decided to concentrate on European market thinking that it would be easier there to breakthrough with their sound. However, the band came back to Australia where they finally found critics acclaim. Their debut album Here Come the Lies was released in 2002 through Spooky Records. The last album to date is Havilah.
