Donnas

The Donnas are an American all-female hard rock band formed in Palo Alto, California, the United States in 1993. The band currently comprises Brett Anderson on vocals and keyboards, Allison Robertson on guitar and vocals, Maya Ford on bass guitar and vocals and Torry Castellano on drums, percussion and vocals. They formed the band while all of them were in school at eighth grade and were not popular or known until they finished a high school. The band was known as Regady Anne, The Electrocutes and finally they became Donnas taking monikers consisting of Donna and the first letter in their last names. The band signed to Atlantic Records in 2001 and reached the mainstream success with such albums like Spend the Night and Gold Medal. Right now, the band is signed to their own Purple Feather Records.
