DJ Quik

David Martin Blake, better known under his stage name DJ Quik was born on January 18, 1970 in Compton, California, the United States. He is an American MC and record producer. He signed Profile Records in 1990 and released his debut album in 1991. The first effort was titled “Quik is the Name” and spawned two top 20 singles - "Tonite" and "Born and Raised in Compton." The album earned him the first success and was certified Platinum by RIAA. You can download this album by DJ Quik in mp3 from our site. This album has become his best-selling release and as none of the next albums could reach the same success. Albums Way 2 Fonky, Safe & Sound, and Rhythm-al-ism were certified Gold. As producer, he produced Snoop Dogg’s record Ego Trippin and made some production for 2Pac’s All Eyes on Me.
