Despised Icon

Despised Icon is a Canadian deathcore band formed in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The band was formed in 2002 and they announced in April 2010 that they would disband. The final line-up composes of Alexandre Erian – screaming vocals, Steve Marois – growling vocals, Eric Jarrin – guitar, Max Lavelle – bass, Alexandre Pelletier – drums, percussion, and Ben Landreville – guitar. The band is known for their work on the underground music scene and they are considerd one of the originators of the deathcore genre. After the formation, the group quickly signed a deal with Galy Records and released the debut album Consumed By Your Poison. The next album The Healing Process was released through Century Media.
