Derek Webb

Derek Walsh Webb, better known as Derek Webb is an American Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter born on May 27, 1974 in Memphis, Tennessee, the United States. He began his music career as a member of the band Caedmon’s Call and later he embarked on a successful solo career. He left the band in 2003 and since that time, he has released four studio albums, one live album and one DVD. His debut album She Must and Shall Go Free came out in 2003 to mixed reviews from the critics due to the use of a “strong language” on the album. He embarked on a tour supporting the album and gained some popularity that allowed him to release a live album The House Show. His follow-up album I see Things Upside Down was also contradictory.
