Dead Kennedys

Dead Kennedys, often abbreviated as DK was an American post-rock and hardcore band formed in 1978 in San Francisco, the United States. The original band’s line up composed of Jello Biafra (Eric Reed Boucher) on vocals, East Bay Ray (Raymond Pepperell) on guitar, Klaus Flouride (Geoffrey Lyall) on bass, and of 6025 (Carlos Cadona) on drums. The band finally disbanded in 2008 and during their career they released four studio albums, two live albums and three compilation albums. The band hasn’t reached the commercial success, though they had a very strong following in certain circles of listeners. The band’s lyrics was full of sarcasm, political satire and social critics.
