David Phelps

David Norris Phelps, better known as David Phelps, is an American Christian singer, songwriter and vocal arranger, born on October 21, 1969 in Texas. He graduated from the Baylor University and received bachelor’s degree in music and vocal performance. He is primary known as a member of the Gaither Vocal band where he is tenor and soloist. While being a member of the band, he released solo albums and went on releasing them after leaving the band. However, he rejoined them in 2009. Phelps has a large range of his voice and he is known not only for a remarkable tenor skills, he can sing high tessitura either. He has released 10 albums that include three live recordings.
