Dave Barnes

David Barnes, better known as Dave Barnes is an American rock and R&B singer-songwriter born on June 20, 1978 in South Carolina, the United States. He performs in such styles like contemporary Christian music, acoustic, rock, r&B, blues and adult contemporary. He started to write songs in the college, however he didn’t have intention to perform them himself, he wrote songs for others. He was persuaded to sing his songs and soon he was playing concerts in his college and in other nearby universities. He released his debut studio LP in 2004. The album was titled Brother, Bring the Sun. It was critically acclaimed and noted by such singers as Amy Grant, Vince Gill and John Mayer.
