Darren Hayes

Darren Stanley Hayes is an Australian pop, pop rock and electronic singer-songwriter born on May 8, 1972 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Hayes rose to fame in the middle of the 1990s when he was part of the pop duo Savage Garden. The duo achieved the mainstream success and was quickly propelled to the stardom. The duo’s hits of that time were "I Want You", "To the Moon and Back", "Truly Madly Deeply", "I Knew I Loved You", "The Animal Song" and "Crash and Burn". The duo was a true international successful act; however, they parted ways in 2001. Hayes decided to pursue a solo career. So far, he has released three studio albums, and 10 singles. His debut solo album Spin was released in 2002 through Columbia Records. The album was supported by such hit singles as "Insatiable", "Strange Relationship" and "I Miss You".
