Dan Fogelberg

Daniel Grayling Fogelberg, known better as Dan Fogelberg was an American rock and folk rock singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (August 13, 1951 – December 16, 2007). His music was very influenced by different genres such as pop, classical, jazz, bluegrass and folk. During his career, he released 16 studio albums, seven compilation albums and 19 singles. He achieved mainstream success very quickly, right after the release of his debut album Home Free. The album reached number 2 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum. The peak of his popularity was during 1970s and the beginning of the 1980s. At that time, he released several consecutive multi-platinum albums – Nether Lands, Phoenix and the Innocent Age. Some of his popular songs included “Longer”, "Leader of the Band", "Make Love Stay", "Believe in Me" and Rhythm of the Rain".
