Damn Yankees

American hard rock band Damn Yankees was formed in 1989. The band's current line-up comprises Tommy Shaw (rhythm & lead guitars, lead & backing vocals), Jack Blades (bass guitar, lead & backing vocals), Ted Nugent (lead & rhythm guitars, backing & lead vocals) and Michael Cartellone (drums, percussion, backing vocals). They quickly gained popularity in the early 1990s with their self-titled album, which was certified platinum two times in the US. The album's lead single, "Coming of Age", reached number 60 on the U.S. Hot 100, and number 1 on the AOR charts. The album's other singles were "Bad Reputation", "Runaway" and "High Enough".
