American hip hop band D12 from Detroit, Michigan, was formed in 1995. The band comprises Bizarre, Eminem, Kon Artis, Kuniva and Swifty. The band achieved mainstream success when one of its members, Eminem, gained popularity worldwide. He became famous in the late 1990s with his debut EP, The Slim Shady, which attracted the attention of Dr.Dre. Eminem immediately signed a contract. In 2001, they released their breakthrough debut album, Devil's Night, which produced two singles such as "Purple Pills" and "Fight Music". The album contained track by Eminem which titled "Girls". Devil's Night became also the first album that was released on Eminem's Shady Records label. This album also peaked at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
