Crystal Bowersox

Crystal Lynn Bowersox was born on August 4, 1985 in Elliston, Ohio, United States. She is an American singer-songwriter performing in such genres like rock, indie folk, acoustic, blues, gospel, soul, blues-rock and country. She plays guitar, harmonica, piano and flute. She rose to the national fame as the finalist in American Idol. During the contest she performed such songs like "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin, "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones, "Come Together" by the Beatles, "No One Needs to Know" by Shania Twain and others. She was nominated for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards for Female Reality/Variety Star. She released her debut album Farmer’s Daughter in 2010.
