Crash Test Dummies

The Crash Test Dummies are a Canadian folk rock band formed in 1989 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Currently the band composes of two members only – Ellen Reid (vocals) and Brad Roberts (lead singer). All the rest members Dan Roberts, Mitch Dorge and Benjamin Darvill are busy with other projects right now. The band achieved the mainstream success in 1991 with their album The Ghosts That Haunt Me. They became popular in native Canada and the single “Superman’s Song” earned the band their first award ever – Juno Award for Group of the Year. The international fame came to the band with their sophomore album God Shuffled His Feet. The album was supported by a single "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" that did very well on the charts.
