Court Yard Hounds

Court Yard Hounds are an American country music duo formed in 2009 in Austin, Texas, the United States. The duo composes of the sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robinson. They are part of the Dixie Chicks along with Natalie Maines. The Dixie Chicks were put on hold in 2008. Sisters wanted to come back in studio in 2009, however Maines was not ready at that time and sisters decided to make a record within their side project that was named Court Yard Hounds. The debut self-titled album of the project was released in 2010 through Columbia Records. The album broke up the charts peaking at number 7 on the Billboard 200, at number 3 on the Top Rock Albums and at number 6 on the Canadian Albums chart.
