Conchita

Spanish pop, dance and latin pop singer, songwriter and musician Conchita was born on March 3, 1980, in Finland. At the age of five, she began plying the guitar. Several years later, she started writing lyrics. In the mid-1990, she joined the Madrid-based pop and dance music band called Bochita. This group was active for several years. During that time, they toured Europe a lot. When the band broke up, she decided to start her solo career. In the beginning, she performed as an opening act for various artists. Later, she signed a contract with EMI Spain record label. After this deal, she began recording her debut solo album, Nada más, which was released in 2007. The album's singles were "Tres Segundos", "Puede Ser" and the number one hit, "Nada que Perder". This record reached number 16 in Spain and it received positive reviews from critics.
