Colt Ford, birth name Jason Farris Brown, was born in 1970 in Athens, Georgia, the United States. He is an American country music artist and former professional golfer. After his sport career, he decided to pursue his music interests. He was influenced by country and hip hop, that’s why his style can be called country rap. During his career, he has released two studio albums. The debut album Ride Through the Country was released in 2008 and hit such charts like Billboard 200 (#140), US Country (#24), US Heatseekers (#2) and others. The album spawned such singles like "No Trash in My Trailer", "Ride Through the Country" (with John Michael Montgomery) and "Cold Beer" (with Jamey Johnson).
