Color Me Badd

Color Me Badd was an American R&B, hip-hop and soul vocal group formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the United States. The group was founded in 1987 by Bryan Abrams, Mark Calderon, Sam Watters and Kevin Thornton. They released their debut album C.M.B. in 1991. The album quickly became a hit and was certified 3 times platinum in the United States. The album’s success was caused by the singles success. The album spawned seven singles and some of them became real hits. "I Adore Mi Amor" and "All 4 Love" topped the Billboard Hot 100 and are the only singles number one ever released by the group. The other hit single "I Wanna Sex You Up" reached number 2 on the American charts and number one on the UK Singles chart. The group released more albums but they couldn’t reach the same level of popularity. The group disbanded in 2000 after Epic Records had refused them to renew the recording deal.
