American reggae and dancehall singer, songwriter and musician Collie Buddz (birth name Colin Harper) was born on August 21, 1981, in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. In 2005, he signed a contract with Columbia record label and immediately released his debut hit single, "Come Around". After this release, he also signed to Sony BMG. At the same year, he released his first record, Collie Buddz, which peaked at number 68 on the Billboard 200. It also produced several singles such as "Blind To You", "Tomorrow's Another Day", "She's Lonely", "Movin' On", "SOS" and his biggest hit, "Come Around".
