Clint Black

American country music singer, songwriter and musician Clint Black was born on February 4, 1962, in Long Branch, New Jersey, U.S. At the age of 12, he taught himself to play harmonica. Moreover, when he was only 14, he wrote his first song and learned to play guitar. During that time, he joined his two brothers, Kevin and Bryan, in their small local band. As a teenager, he was influenced by a variety of musical genres. In the early 1980s, he met guitarist Hayden Nicholas and they started their collaboration. In 1985, their demo song "Nobody's Home" caught the attention of Bill Ham from RCA Records and very soon, Black signed to this label. He rose to fame in 1989 with his breakthrough debut solo album, Killin' Time, which produced several hit singles such as "A Better Man", "Nothing's News", "Walking Away", "Nobody's Home", and "Killin' Time".
