Chris Knight

Chris Knight is an American country music singer and songwriter born on June 24, 1960 in Slaughters, Kentucky, the United States. He was interested in music in his childhood but took it seriously only at the age of 15 when he began learning songs by John Prine on his brother’s guitar. He got the Agriculture degree in the Western Kentucky University, worked as miner’s consultant and then decided to pursue a music career. He wrote his songs and went to Nashville where began his career. Since that time he established his name in the Americana music genre. He wrote songs for many artists including John Anderson, Randy Travis, Montgomery Gentry ("She Couldn't Change Me") and others. He has released seven studio albums.
