Chocolate Milk

American funk, R&B and soul band Chocolate Milk from New Orleans, Louisiana, was formed in 1974. The band comprised Frank Richard, Amadee Castenell, Jr, Joe Foxx, Robert Dabon, Mario Tio and Dwight Richards. In the early 1970, they signed to RCA and in 1975 they released their debut album, Action Speaks Louder Than Words, which did not achieved any commercial success but received positive reviews from critics. In 1976, they released their second self-titled album, which became their breakthrough record. The band continued its success with their following albums. In 1998, their compilation album, Ice Cold Funk: The Greatest Grooves of Chocolate Milk, was released. It included their most popular singles such as "Running Away", "Comin'", "Girl Callin'", "Say Won 'Tcha", "Groove City" and "Hey Lover".
