The Chicago Symphony Orchestra is one of the leading orchestras in the United States and one of the best orchestras in the world. It was ranked number 5 best world orchestra by the British classical magazine Gramophone in 2008. The Orchestra has received incredible number of the Grammy Awards in such nominations like Best Classical Album, Best Horal Performance, Best Instrumental Soloist with Orchestra, Best Classical Vocal Performance and others.
