Grammy nominated American R & B/soul singer Charlie Wilson (birth name Charles Kent Wilson) was born on January 29, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the US. Being a child at the age of 3 or 4 he was taught to sing in church and this led him to the serious music career. He was a member of the Gap Band and has released many solo albums, they are You turn My Life Around, Bridging the Gap, Charlie, Last Name Wilson, Uncle Charlie.
