CeCe Winans is an American Gospel singer, songwriter and actress. Her real name is Priscilla Marie Love Winans. She was born on October 8 in 1964. Priscilla is from Detroit, Michigan. CeCe's musical genre is a mix of CCM, pop, R&B, worship, hymns, and urban contemporary-gospel. CeCe Winans began her solo career in 1995 when she released the first album, Alone in His Presence. This album earned her a Grammy Award. In 1999, CeCe Winans formed her own music record label "PureSprings Gospel". Until 2001, she recorded 4 more albums. After that, CeCe made a break in her solo career. It lasted about two years. In 2003, CeCe released the sixth studio album, Throne Room.
