Canned Heat
Canned Heat is an American rock and blues band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California, the United States. The band was formed by two blues enthusiasts Bob Hite (died in 1981) and Alan Wilson (died in 1970). The band reached the international success with the following line-up: Bob Hite, vocals, Alan Wilson guitar, harmonica and vocals, Henry Vestine (or Harvey Mandel) on lead guitar, Larry Taylor on bass, and Adolfo "Fito" de la Parra on drums. They were very popular at the end of 1960s. The success was earned by the songs like "Going up the Country" and "On the Road Again". The current line-up composes of Adolfo “Fito” de la Parra - drums, Barry Levenson - guitar, Greg Kage – bass, vocals and Robert Lucas – guitar, harmonica, vocals.
