Camera Obscura

Camera Obscura is an indie pop band formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1996. The band composes of Tracyanne Campbell (guitar, vocals), Gavin Dunbar (bass), Carey Lander (piano, organ, vocals), Kenny McKeeve (guitar, mandolin, harmonica, vocals), Lee Thomson (bass) and of Nigel Baillie (part time on trumpet and percussion). The band released their debut album Biggest Bluest Hi Fi in 2001. The single “Eighties Fan” charted on several independent charts and the band was invited to do their Peel Session. The second album Underachievers Please Try Harder has become kind of a breakthrough one for the band. They went on their first Britain and Ireland tour as well as they toured in the United States for the first time. Third album Let's Get Out of This Country entered the official chart for the first time and peaked at number 125. You can download this album by Camera Obscura in mp3 from our site.
