Buffalo Springfield

Buffalo Springfield was an American folk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1966. The band composed of then-unknown musicians like Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Richie Furay and Jim Messina. The band has become the first step in their successful careers. They broke up in 1968 because of the pressure of working in the music industry and internal problems. Despite short active period, the band was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band has released three studio albums and after disbanding three compilations were released, the last one Buffalo Springfield (box set) came out in 2001.
