American Southern rapper Bubba Sparxxx (birth name Warren Anderson Mathis) was born on March 6, 1977. At the age of 22, he moved to Athens, Georgia to develop his musical skills and to achieve success in the music industry. There, he met Bobby Stamps, his present manager and business partner. Stamps noticed him after a University of Georgia football game. And he made it possible for Sparxxx to collaborate with various artists. His first album, Dark Days, Bright Nights, achieved a huge success in Georgia. Days, Bright Nights also caught the attention of Jimmy Iovine from Interscope Records. Later, he signed to this record label and started working with various producers including Timbaland and Organized Noize. His debut album, Dark Days, Bright Nights, produced two hit singles, "Ugly" (reached number 15 in the US) and "Lovely".
