Bruno Mars

Peter Gene Hernandez, better known by his stage name Bruno Mars is an American singer-songwriter and music producer. He was born on October 8, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was raised in musical family and from the young age he was performing songs by Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, The Isley Brothers and The Temptations. Before pursuing a successful solo career, he was writing songs for Alexandra Burke, Travie McCoy, Adam Levine, Brandy, and Sean Kingston, as well as Flo Rida. Mars’ debut solo album Doo-Woops&Hooligans was released in October 2010 through Atlantic and Elektra Records. The album reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 and was in the top 10 in Canada, Australia, and new Zealand. The album was supported by a hit single number 1 “Just the Way You Are”.
