Brujeria

Brujeria is an extreme metal band formed in Mexico City, Mexico in 1989. The band was formed in order to represent Hispanic community among the band who sang mostly in English. The founding members are guitarist Dino Cazares, Jello Biafra, drummer Pat Hoed, bass guitarist Billy Gould and vocalist Juan Brujo. All of them were under monikers as they were members of their other bands and Brujeria was kind of a side-project. The band was heavily criticized for their lyrics about sex, anti-Christianity, Satanism and killing White people despite the fact that most of the members are white. The current line-up composes of Juan Brujo, Fantasma, El Cynico, Hongo, Podrido, Pinche Peach and Pititis. The band has released three full-length albums. The last one Brujerizmo came out in 2000.
