Brother Ali

Ali Newman (birth name Jason Newman), known as Brother Ali was born in Madison, Wisconsin, the United States in 1977. He is an American hip hop artist and producer. Brother Ali was born with a rare genetic disease albinism lacking the pigment that would give skin, eyes and hair its color. He was often mistaken for being black but he’s white as well as his family. Brother Ali has released four studio albums and two EPs. He cites KRS-One and Rakim his main inspirations. One of his most controversial songs is Uncle Sam Goddamn, which features a very political lyrics criticizing American politics and accusing it in war addiction.
