Brian Douglas Wilson, known just as Brian Wilson (born on June 20, 1940 in Inglewood, California, the United States) is an American musician best known as the leader and chief songwriter of the rock band The Beach Boys. He was also the band’s main arranger, producer and composer. He and all the rest band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Rolling Stone magazine put Wilson in their list of 100 Greatest Singers of All Time and ranked him number 59. Besides his activity in the band, Wilson has embarked on solo career though it hasn’t earned him so much success as membership in the Beach Boys. As a solo artist, he began his career in 1988 releasing a self-titled album, which peaked at number 54 on the Billboard 200. The last album to date was released in 2008.
