Boney James

Boney James, birth name James Oppenheim is an American musician born on September, 1, 1961 in Lowell, Massachussetts, the Unites States. He is a virtuoso saxophonist, songwriter and producer working in such popular genre like urban jazz. This genre is based on contemporary jazz and incorporates elements of hip-hop and R&B. He began playing music when he was a child. At the age of eight, he started learning to play clarinet, however, he switched to saxophone later. His serious music career began at the beginning of the 1990s when he joined Bobby Caldwell's band. In 1992, he released his debut album Trust.
