American rap metal, crossover thrash and hardcore punk band Body Count from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 1990. The band comprises Ice-T (vocals), Bendrix (rhythm guitar), Ernie C (lead guitar), Vincent Price (bass) and O.T. (drums). The band's music style is influenced by heavy metal and hardcore punk genres, but also it is often considered as a mix of speed metal, thrash metal and rapcore. They achieved mainstream success in the early 1990s with their self-titled debut album, which reached number 26 on the Billboard 200. It also produced several hit singles such as "There Goes the Neighborhood", "Body Count's in the House" and "The Winner Loses".
