Bobby Brown

Robert Barisford Brown, known as Bobby Brown was born on February 5, 1969 in Roxbury, Massachusetts, U.S. He’s an American R & B singer-songwriter and dancer. He also performs in such styles as new jack swing, hip hop and dance-pop. He began his music career in the R & B boy band New Edition and reached the success being its member. His early hits with the band included such songs as "Candy Girl", "Cool It Now", and "Mr. Telephone Man". In 1986 he left the boy band and pursued a solo career. He has released four solo albums and the second one titled Don’t Be Cruel, released in 1988 became a real breakthrough. The album was certified 7 x Multi-Platinum and reached number one on the Billboard charts. It yielded several Gold singles, like Don’t be Cruel, My Prerogative, Roni and Every Little Step.
