Blur is an English alternative rock band formed in London in 1988. It composes of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree. During its career the band tried to find its own sound so they changed their stylistics and sounded like Madchester for example. Then they incorporated sounds of guitar pop bands, and made the Britpop more popular around the UK. Blur has released 7 studio albums. The breakthrough happened in 1997 with their 5th album "Blur" though some people had called it "commercial suicide" before the release as the band experimented with music style. Despite these predictions, the first single from this album Beetlebum debuted as number one on the UK charts. Song 2 and the whole album became a hit in the USA. Some of their other hits include Tender, Out of time, Girls & Boys and many others. They collaborated with many groups, like Gorillaz, The Good, the Bad & the Queen, The Ailerons, WigWam, Fat Les, Me Me Me. All the Blur albums are available to download in mp3 from our site.
